Sacred Hill and Sikles trek is new and wonderful trekking trail that known as traditional path also, which was used by the local people before the motor roads was built. This short and beautiful trek lies north-east of Pokhara and the trek start from Lakurebot or Lamkhet after a 45-minute drive from Pokhara's lakeside. By way of the river and crossing small villages you will reach Thak village by walking paddy fields, forests and climbing steep hills. We will overnight in sacred hill. sacred hill is one of the best place for observing nature and capturing place of panoramic view of natural beauties and Himalaya. After the holy hill we have to walk through the thick forest where there is a lot of possibility to see different kinds of flowers including wild animals. Since there is no hotel on this trip, we have to stay overnight camping at Tarhil Top. The altitude of 2850 meter's Tarahill top is a great view point for excellent views of Annapurna Himalayan ranges. Trekking through the dense rhododendron forest, enjoying the cool water of the small creeks, rejoicing in the sounds of different birds, we will reach a large Gurung settlement rich in art, religion and culture called Sikles village. We will have option to live here in sikles either hotel or home stay. After the sikles village if you have enough time you can extend the trek longer to Kaphuche lake or Tangting village. But if you don't have enough time you can return back to Pokhara.
