Sacred Hill, Sikles and kahfuche lake trek is moderate hiking routs from pokhara to avoid the normal Annapurna tourist trail and find a forgotten unspoilt area of Himalayan Nepal, Principally occupied by the Gurung people and rarely visited by outsider. This wonderful trek will take you into the heartland of the Gurungs, one of Nepal’s major ethnic groups and most closer glacier lake from pokhara which is in the altitude of 2450 m from sea level. You will be able to witness first hand their culture (dance and song and social life) of the hilltop villages, locally produced Handicrafts and utensils, and an agrarian way of life that has changed little over the centuries. Also you will have chance to see history and life style of Gurung people in ECO Museum. In this trek you will explore Sikles villages which is larger and rich for tradition and culture in Kaski District. Tara hill is best view point of this route, along the thick rhododendron forest path to Sikles from Thak. The view of whole Annapurna mountain range from Tara hill is amazing.
